Mystical Connection with Mary (Part 14)

XX. Today, on the feast of St. Agatha in 1669, the loving Mother appeared to me again. It started in the morning when I was reading the hours, and it continued during the following prayer. It began with an unexpected, sudden, and long-unexperienced, innocent, charming, and loving address and at the same time a very childlike innocent attachment to her as my dearest and most beloved Mother, and I also called her that (namely, the most beloved little Mother).

This presence of hers was very new and dear to me, for it seems to me that almost two months have passed since I last saw her with me, and I did not experience her sweet and loving presence and maternal favor. I used to receive this grace very often before I was betrothed to the Beloved. But I clearly recognize and believe that She did not withdraw her maternal visit and frequent presence due to a lack of maternal love or for any fault of mine.
