The boat is approaching the shore,
God, eternal love,
sends his Son
for the salvation of mankind.
It sails over the calm sea
and knows its destination:
it brings us generous gifts
from the noble lady.
Mary, heavenly rose,
you vessel of joy,
Queen above the stars,
deliver us from sin.
A small boat sails to us quietly
bringing the joyous news;
love watches over the helm,
the Holy Spirit is the mast.
