Holy Spirit, enlighten me.
Love of God, consume me.
Lead me on the path of truth.
Mary, Mother, accompany me.
Bless me with Jesus.
Protect me from all evil,
deception and danger.
Fountain of peace and light, come and enlighten me.
I am hungry, come and satisfy me.
I am thirsty, come and refresh me.
I am blind, come and grant me sight.
I am poor, come and enrich me.
I am ignorant, come and teach me.
Holy Spirit, I give myself entirely to you.
Holy Spirit, it is your task to introduce me to Jesus. The Apostles lived long with Jesus without truly understanding him. But when you came to them, they finally understood him.
You can grant me this understanding too.
Come, my comforter, come my joy and my peace, my strength and my light.
Come, enlighten me, so that I may find the spring where I can quench my thirst. One drop from you is enough to show me Jesus as he is.
Jesus said that you will come to the ignorant, I am the most ignorant of all. I do not ask you for any other knowledge than how to find Jesus. I do not ask you for any other wisdom than the understanding of Jesus.
