One of the most common barriers that today distances many people from God is the problem of self-acceptance. Therefore, I want to dedicate a few words to it.
Do I want to find my place in life and thus my true face before God? If so, I must seek the truth about everything that exists. I must ask about God and the world around me and not overlook myself in the process. For some reason, I AM, which is a thought-provoking stimulus. Just as much as I EXIST, I could very well not exist. Similarly, and perhaps most importantly, I am THIS WAY, but I could be completely different.
Why am I this way? I would quite like to be different… Because if being is not a coincidence, and people are in God's hands, I am needed as I am. My environment, abilities, appearance, and above all my inner restlessness will reliably lead me to reality, away from illusions.
And reality? That is all God's, a construction that will not fall with death. In it, I will discover that BEING THIS WAY is the best and most useful.
