Have compassion for those who have no mercy on themselves!

O compassionate and loving Lord of my soul! You also say, “Come to me all who are thirsty, and I will give you drink.” There is a great need for water... I already know, my Lord, according to Your goodness, that You will provide it. You Yourself promise this. And Your words cannot fail.
Have mercy on those who have no mercy for themselves! When their misfortune holds them in such a state that they do not want to come to You, come, my God, You to them! I ask You this in their name, and I know that as soon as they understand and regain their senses and begin to taste You, these dead will be resurrected.
O living fountains of my God's wounds, how richly you will always spring forth to quench our thirst. And how surely will pass through the snares of this wretched life the one who strives to nourish themselves with that divine drink.
