The incarnation stems from God's goodness, but the first thing that appears to us is one so wonderful, radiant, and surprising that it shines like a blinding sign: namely, the infinite humility that this mystery conceals...
God, being, infinity, perfection, almighty Creator, infinite and sovereign Lord of all, who became man, entered into one soul and one body, and appeared on earth as a man, as the least of men. For me, this means always seeking the lowest place of all, to become as small as my Master, so that I may be with him, walking step by step behind him as a faithful servant, as a faithful disciple, to live with my God, who lived his entire earthly life this way and gives me such an example in his birth.
