I really like the words that P. Lacordaire addresses to Saint Mary Magdalene: "Whom are you seeking? There is nothing more to search for, Mary, you have found Him whom you will never lose. You need not ask anyone on earth or in heaven, and even less Him than the others, because He is your soul and your soul is He. Separate yourself for a moment, now you are united where there is no space or obstacles, no shadows, nothing that hinders unity and oneness. You are one, as He desired and as you hoped: one, as God is in His Son, in the depths of that essence, in which you now dwell through grace and in which one day you will dwell in glory."
