The medicine is within reach.

Those moments when we feel bad and are completely confused can be moments of great humility before God.
We rightly see that on our own we can do nothing. And then we understand that we may ask Him for everything. And that in order to do this, He allows us to feel so defenseless, so powerless regarding ourselves.
In such moments, the remedy is at hand. We just need to say: “Lord God, you see how I am incapable of finding anything true and pure within myself. How is it that you can still love me? Because I know that you still love me and that you cannot do otherwise, and that every additional day that I can receive Holy Communion is another sign of the love you have for me.”
