When my prayers do not succeed, you yourself are my prayer.

Sometimes it happens that we pray with very little. We are internally somewhat detached. Blessed is he who can say to Christ: “Jesus Christ, I hide nothing from you in my heart; you know that I can hardly express my desire to unite with you. You yourself have experienced the human condition. You know that sometimes I feel pulled in every direction at once. But even when my inner self experiences emptiness, I still have a thirst for your presence. And when my prayer fails, you are my prayer itself.”
