I rely on his great love, which is my joy.

It seems to me the most absurd thing in the world to be upset because I am weak, distracted, and blind, and constantly make mistakes! What else could I expect? Does God love me any less just because I cannot become holy by my own strength, in my own way? On the contrary – He loves me all the more, since without Him I am clumsy and helpless. Under the guise of what I am now, He already sees me as I will become purely through His gift, and that delights Him... And so it delights me as well, which is why I rely on His great love, which is my joy.
