The great night
has spread over us
from one realm of being to another.
In its depths
thousands of bells wait
in the tension of absolute silence,
until it happens,
what has never happened
in the tension of hope,
that does not move a hair.
With the great night
I wait for you, my Christ,
motionless for a long time,
to see if I will resonate with incredible bells
at the dawn of morning.
