A child who found its place in the Holy Trinity...

Spiritual childhood primarily allows a free expression of the sonly or daughterly instinct of sanctifying grace; such a child, who has found their place in the Holy Trinity, can no longer bear to be separated from their Father, God. When a difficulty arises, or when they are entrusted with a more serious task, they instinctively go "into the arms of God, like a small child, and hide their face in His hair." Their inner prayer consists of looking closely at God, striving to better know Him in His deeds and words, as reported to us by the books of Sacred Scripture.
