Because God draws souls to Himself in various ways and through different paths, and you cannot pray or meditate, do not lose courage, do not give up, do not neglect prayer or meditation, but do what you can, however not in a way that would be violent to yourself. Yes, if you did nothing in prayer or meditation other than just being present and placing yourself in the presence of the royal divine Majesty, it will be a service to God that He greatly appreciates. Believe without doubt that you are with God, as if you were in some dark or gloomy room with one of your closest friends, and with Him.
