Eternal God, we ask You to envelop us in Your holy cross, which is Your foolishness, which is Your misery, and therefore Your bliss and glory. May we ask for what we request from the bride of the Son, from the daughter of the Father, from the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit: May I be intoxicated by Your cross (fac me cruce inebriari1), the scandal of Your cross, the foolishness of Your cross, Your love above all loves.
