I used to think that the holiness of a person depended on the person themselves; now I perceive holiness as a privileged grace, a sea of grace given to a person. So I am probably making less effort in action and more in openness to God; I would say that I seek God's help more than my own performance. I have experienced my nothingness and helplessness to such an extent that I feel completely dependent on God.
