Yes, Christ is within us. He is not outside of us, where we think we will find him… in silence, in prayer. In our most lively activity, he is within us, or rather we do not live, but he lives in us. So do not seek Christ outside of yourself as something you must follow, force to come, nor seek him outside of your active life – for he is here for you, in the present moment. It is not you who are fully occupied from morning till night – it is Christ. Your Christ, who belongs to you, as he is within you. Your Christ is the Christ of activity; for you, he is precisely in action.
