Will you believe or not believe? Will you accept or reject?

The Cross of Christ poses a question for every person: Will you believe or not believe? Will you accept or despise? The Cross of Christ is a tool that can and must break pride. It is a tree whose fruit can only be reached without pride. Christ, who blossomed on it, was not proud. Blessed is the one who comes so weary, beaten, and crushed by the world that they have to cast away even the last remnants of their pride along the way as a useless burden, unable to carry anything more. Blessed is the one who comes with empty hands, tired and hungry, who cannot depend on bringing anything, who sees and feels that they have nothing and need everything. The Cross of Christ is a refuge for those who come to plead with weeping and on their knees like the most miserable beggars, for whom all doors in the world are already closed and locked.
