Do not lose courage if you cannot speak and think and cannot say anything to our Lord: He knows best how poor we are. Who is able to say anything to the Word, the Eternal Word, the uncreated Wisdom of God? I too often experience the same and do not think that my prayer is poor because the purpose of prayer is to be filled with love for our God. It is enough just to be in his presence, just a look at him, so that we love him, and fascinated by his beauty we can say nothing else but that we love him.
