Lord, make me feel that you love me, that I am your son; that you are not looking at my failures right now, that you are not thinking of my shortcomings, my sins at this moment. It is joy! Make me feel it, Lord. Perhaps I haven’t felt it for years. I tell others, but who tells me? Maybe I haven’t heard anyone say to me for years: “God loves you. You are God's beloved.” Lord, today I stand before you like a small child asking their mother: “Do you love me? Mommy, do you love me?” And so I ask you, Lord, right now: “Love me! Open, Lord, my heart, that I may receive your love.”
