You know, my God, that I have never desired anything else but to love; I do not claim any other glory. Your love has preceded me since my childhood, has grown with me, and now it is an abyss whose depth I cannot fathom. Love attracts love, and so, my Jesus, my love is cast towards you; it would like to fill the abyss that beckons it, but alas! It is not even a drop of dew, lost in the ocean! To love you as you love me, I must borrow your own love; only then will I find peace.
