Love is strengthened through suffering.

I wrote in my last letter that God often allows the body to suffer in order to heal the sickness of our soul. Just have faith! Make a virtue out of necessity! Ask God not for relief from bodily hardships, but for strength to endure everything He wants for love of Him, and for as long as He wills.
I know that such a prayer is hard for our nature, but God will gladly accept it – in this there is great comfort for those who love Him. Love is strengthened in suffering. When a person loves God, they suffer for Him with joy and courage. Please do it this way: seek comfort in Him. He is the only physician of all our ailments. He is the Father of the poor, always ready to help us. He loves us infinitely more than we can imagine. So love Him and seek help from no one else but Him. I hope you will experience this help soon. God be with you. I, with my weak prayers, am with you, and I am still in our Lord Jesus Christ, yours...
