In the beginning
beyond the reach of senses,
there is the Word.
O most bountiful treasury,
in which the beginning
brings forth the beginning!
O heart of the Father,
from which ceaselessly
to the great joy flows that Word!
And yet that womb
keeps that Word within itself.
That is the truth.
From those two, one river,
from their love, fire,
from two, one bond,
that unites both –
most lovely Spirit, who
continually flows,
indivisible.
The three are One –
you know what? No. What is,
only He Himself knows.
