May our Lord become your only joy in all things.

If there is one thing I clearly realize during these days, it is the fact that all our worries, even those seemingly serious, become insignificant once we observe only their inner, divine element. Indeed, the vision of God – which is the only thing we should desire among all life’s experiences – should free us from all fears that we will not be happy enough or successful… You know very well that more than anything I wish that our Lord becomes for you this way the only joy in all things; then I will be completely calm, for I will know that your peace cannot be threatened by any trials or monotony and that you live everywhere bathed in light.
