My Father, I surrender myself to You.
Do with me as You will.
Whatever You do with me,
I thank You for it.
I am ready for anything, I accept everything.
I desire nothing else,
but that Your will be fulfilled in me,
in all Your creatures, my God.
I surrender my soul into Your hands.
I give it to You, my God,
with all the love of my heart,
because I love You and it is the need of my love to give myself,
to surrender into Your hands without measure,
with infinite trust,
for You are my Father.
(Charles de Foucauld /1858–1916/)
