Jesus, I look at You.
I am happy in my suffering,
in it You offer me union
and a path to heaven.
Jesus, in agony, in darkness,
the love for You awakens in me,
in Your wounds I die to myself
in blissful solitude.
Jesus, You allowed me to find You.
Now, when I have run out of all my strength,
failure, fear have paralyzed me,
when I had already lost hope.
Jesus, I scream with joy!
For You have never been closer to me
than here. And You give Yourself to me from the cross.
You, in Your fullness.
