Beware of any self-analysis. In self-examination, we find only ourselves – and when we find ourselves, we find unrest. Always try to break the circle that would lead you back to yourself under any pretext, and strive to soar to God like an arrow. Such a Gloria Patri prayed with deep faith… will calm the soul more than all conceivable analyses. The answer to all this is in the statement with which God spoke to Saint Catherine of Siena: "You take care of me, and I will take care of you."
