He asks the doctor for a cure, but he prescribes everything for himself.

In suffering, you ask me to relieve your suffering, but exactly according to your specifications. You turn to me, but you want me to adapt to you. You are like a sick person who asks the doctor for healing, but prescribes everything for themselves. Do not proceed like this, but pray as I taught you in the Our Father prayer: “Hallowed be Your name,” be glorified in my distress and difficulties. “Your kingdom come” means that everything may work towards the glory of Your kingdom in us and in the world. “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” means: You decide in this need, do what You consider best for my eternal and temporal life. If you truly say to me “Your will be done” – then take care of everything – then I will intervene with all my omnipotence and resolve the most difficult situations!
