Humility as a Result of Love

Humility

In a deeper sense, humility is a result of love.

A person stops taking themselves seriously.

They love the other so much and admire them
that they no longer find pleasure in themselves
and are not so anxious about their honor.

Humility does not consist in
having the most accurate overview
of our good and bad qualities

but

in finding such values in the other
that we no longer think of ourselves.
