You participate with Jesus in the redemption of the world.

Think of the trials you encounter, the humiliations you have to endure, the suffering that comes from outside; all of this is allowed not only to destroy within you what needs to be destroyed, but also because through it you participate with Jesus in the redemption of the world, that it has meaning for his entire church, that it returns to the world as a blessing. If we did not think of this, we would suffocate. But from this thought arises a certain joy, that we can unite with Jesus, that we can be incorporated into the great prayer of his bride, which is the church.
