Under suffering, there is hidden light.

The cross is a mystery of light rather than a mystery of suffering. Suffering is not the essence; it will pass. Beneath it lies hidden light. At times it shines through the veil of pain and radiates outward. Light is what truly matters; it will last forever. However, by having gone through suffering, it cloaks itself in a peculiar beauty and encompasses within its glow all that is dignified and noble in the destinies of our land and in our human fates.
