We are not called to find only a home in You, we are not called to just hide in You; we are called to be in Your love, that You may give us, that You may send us with the breath and the storm into the whole world! God, we are aware of this and confess before You that we, like the ancient Jews, have such a single stubborn resistance to the breath of Your Spirit! We resist this Spirit, we defend ourselves against this Spirit, we cling desperately against the breath of Your Spirit!
Lord, You must come with all Your storm, Lord, You must come with all Your power, Lord, You must come with all Your strength! Lord, may Pentecost finally come among us!
