Turn your gaze away from yourself, and even from all your faults and weaknesses, especially! Look not at yourself, but rather at Christ. Or rather – and this may be quite difficult for you – when you observe yourself, you should see only Christ, who is present within you, not yourself. Christ is in you, or rather, He is you. Forget that you are two. Deny yourself, do not wish to be anymore.
