The submitted faith, an unbounded faith.

It is good that we are abandoned, that all the supports we relied on are disappearing, while in our hearts even the light of God is fading: but it is precisely then that we must have that great reconciled and surrendered faith, an unbounded faith, which accepts winter without knowing whether spring will ever come to the earth, but knows well that in any case spring will come in heaven.
