When we completely and fully place ourselves in God's hands, we can trust that He Himself will do something with us. It depends on Him how it turns out. There is no need for us to constantly observe and measure ourselves. And believe me this: the people you write about, whom you have been allowed to know and who seem to you to approach the ideal of a perfect Christian, are just as miserable, just as uncertain of themselves as you are when we look at them from the inside.
