Darkness, emptiness, desolation
trust, patience, perseverance.
Darkness is sometimes for the soul as much,
as if it received a rapture and experiences.
Desolation is also a form of God's action in the soul.
It is more bitter, but this is accepted, one suffers and perseveres in it
waiting for God.
Do not try to act against it!
Not a desperate search for comfort,
not to fight against that supposed "unbelief"!
One must wait for the Lord – and not run ahead of Him.
That is how one might miss the Lord.
