Maria,
Mother and Beauty of Carmel,
help us to live fruitfully
the Carmelite vocation
and to bear
an unpretentious,
faithful witness to it.
Bride of the Spirit,
kindle in other hearts
the desire and grace
to walk in the footsteps
of the great and simple
saints of Carmel.
Amen.
(prayer composed by Carmelites
on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Fr. Metoděj Minařík, O.Carm. /1912–2003/)
