With joy and hope, we present the first electronic newsletter for Carmelite laypeople. This initiative is the result of the first meeting of the new General Commission for Carmelite Laity and Youth. During our six-year mandate, we would like to strengthen two aspects: spiritual formation and communication.
We believe that this magazine will be a good tool for understanding our charism and spirituality, as well as getting to know various projects of laypeople and youth around the world.
In this issue, we focused on the figure of St. Albert of Jerusalem, the Latin Patriarch in the Holy Land, who gave us the Carmelite Order and whose eight-hundredth anniversary of death we commemorate this year.
