Why joy...? To love God means to find one's happiness in God's joy and happiness. It means to have complete, total joy because God is permanently happy. The normal, enduring posture of a baptized person is thus fullness of joy. Those who belong to God and live from Him give themselves to joy. If we live with the Lord and He with us, how could our life not be full of joy and rejoicing...? Peace for the present, hope for the future, and the fruit of joyfulness and happiness, perfect joy.
