A great and admirable remedy against physical pain and mental sorrow is the reading of the Holy Scripture. I believe that no words, however carefully chosen, can socomfort a sick mind and dispel worries as does Scripture. I have experienced this very often. When at times I was overwhelmed by a multitude of anxieties that so wildly inundate the restless lives of mortals, I always turned to the books of Scripture. And I found relief, all that I sought in it, and in my hope and desire, I was not disappointed.
